Charles F. Bellomy
Charles F. Bellomy is an accomplished litigator with over fifteen years of experience representing a variety of clients ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small sole proprietorships and partnerships. Mr. Bellomy has successfully litigated claims in both state and federal court and before various administrative agencies.
Mr. Bellomy is an experienced trial attorney and has obtained favorable trial verdicts for defendants and plaintiffs alike. In addition to successful trial resolutions, Mr. Bellomy has favorably resolved many cases through mediation, arbitration, and direct negotiation with the opposing party.
Mr. Bellomy is experienced with a broad range of civil matters, including claims involving commercial contract rights, employer liability under state and federal law for discrimination, harassment and wrongful termination, class action product liability claims, class action claims for breach of natural resource royalty contracts and liability arising from land use, mineral and real property rights, insurance coverage, property damage, personal injury, and professional malpractice.
Mr. Bellomy graduated cum laude from West Virginia University in 1998 with dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in philosophy and economics. He is a 2002 graduate of the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill School of Law, where he was a member of the National Moot Court Team and recipient of the Gressman-Pollitt Award for excellence in oral advocacy.
Mr. Bellomy is a native of Ceredo, West Virginia, and now resides in Huntington with his twin daughters, Gabriella and Isabella.
